I love that you also use an Excel spreadsheet to track all of this. I keep track of the initial 7000 film list that TSPDT uses. You might enjoy my Year in Film series. I haven't tried too much to move towards the 1000 because of trying to complete all the Academy Awards films, but I think our minds are in the same alignment.

This website is great. Would you be interested in writing about the upcoming Jersey based Branchage film festival. It shows a wide range of films, from classic british cinema (If..., I know where I'm going) to new experimental filmmaking (Max Hatler), avant garde (Andrew Kotting) as well as getting the best out of the cinema experience by screening in thought provoking locations. The film ISOLATION, following social photographer Stuart Griffiths as he meets ex-soldiers around the UK is screening in the Jersey War Tunnels, while 3D lights displays on Mont Orgueil Castle accompany a screenin of The Secret of Kells. If you're interested in hearing more, or sampling some of the work, please get in touch.

Hello,
What a wonderful website - I got to it through the O Lucky Man. I was wondering whether you'd be interested in a festival that I work for than runs 1st - 4th October in Jersey www.branchagefestival.com

We're showing an interesting range of films - from classic British films like Powell and Pressburger's I know where I'm going and Anderson's IF... to the latest in new British experimental animation (Max Hattler), old time avant garde like Andrew Kotting, and new releases such as Fish Tank. The films are shown in locations that are hoped to complement and provoke thought about the film - the film Isolation about social photographer Stuart Griffiths meeting and talking to soldiers returned from war, is being shown in the Jersey Tunnels while the new Irish animation The SEcret of Kells has a screening in Mont Orgueil Castle, with a 3D light display from artist collectives Seeper and Flat-e. If you're interested, or in sampling some of the work please get in touch

Hey all you cool cats and funky ladies, starting June 12, Comcast On Demand wants you to shake your groove thang while reliving your favorite movies from the seventies including Chinatown, The Sting and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. These and your other favorite 70’s hits can be found On Demand in the “Movies & Events” folder under “Movie Collections,” with many available in HD. Groovy!

Hello!

I know that this isn't exactly a comment, but I couldn't find your e-mail address, and I wanted to write and tell you about a new website for artists, musicians, fashion designers, and filmmakers: www.PutItOn.com. I've been using the site as an artist and have my work there, and am trying to support it because I believe in it. Basically, the site allows artists from all over the world to connect, display their portfolios, and sell their work (with NO commission taken!). The site gives artists a FREE gigabyte of space to showcase their portfolios, allows you to stream audio and video works, lets you create live personal broadcasts, and translates any writing into ten different languages. If you could take the time to visit the site, and if you like it too, let your readers know about it, and even sign up yourself or link to it on your site it would be greatly appreciated! We are trying to make a go of helping out artists everywhere and are trying to get the word out, so please help us out if you like the site after checking it out! Thank you!

All the best,
Sarah at PutItOn.com
