(Spike Lee had a pretty good decade with what I think are two of his three great films -- this and WHEN THE LEVEES BROKE.) And I very much appreciated at the time Mike D'Angelo's praise of the film when it seemed so many mainstream reviewers were disregarding it. Thanks for this really wonderful revisit!
