By The Bluest of Seas is indeed a beautiful and sensual visual poem, and a very spiritual film. There is something prelapsarian in the innocence and joy portrayed. I love movies and I do movie reviews, but I must say that i do not know much about soviet movies, especially older ones. As someone mentioned, a recent and excellent soviet movie was Genghis Khan. So this is a good opportunity to check a great oldie.
