Hair highlights is a trend that looks good on every woman and never goes out of fashion. Regardless of your length, cut or personal style, highlights brighten up your face, increase your confidence and make you look more polished and younger. Highlights are so popular because for many women their natural hair color can look flat and with age, grey hairs begin to pop up.

Hi Kevin,

This is great! You've got loads of excellent links in, and it's nice to see such extensive reviews of the film. I work as a Research Assistant/Archivist at the University of Stirling... with the Lindsay Anderson Archive! Here is a link to the Collection homepage http://www.is.stir.ac.uk/libraries/collections/...
I'm working here for three years, cataloguing Lindsay Anderson's Archive, at the end of the project the catalogue will then be available online. I also have a blog http://archivesandauteurs.blogspot.com/ - where I post about my work as well as other film and arts Archive related news.

Lindsay Anderson kept huge files of reviews of his films and theatre work. He would collect reviews on his travels, and friends, fans, and critics would send him reviews from other countries. We also have large correspondence files relating to O Lucky Man!, production notes, advertising materials, stills and drafts of the script and screenplay.

I'm looking forward to looking through your other reviews and articles!

This just in: literally moments after I posted this entry, I came upon a fresh review on notcoming.com by Chet Mellema, and it is one of the more thoroughly considered reviews available online. Here'a s choice excerpt:

"O Lucky Man! never quite mines the laughs it seems so close to unearthing, nor ties up the loose ends created by its oversized determination to expose every last one of Britain’s ills. There is always a feeling that scenes were intended to be a lot funnier and even more outlandish than the finished product, or that thoughts reach for profundity but fail from inadequate attention because of a need to move on to the next topic. The end result just doesn’t quite measure up to Anderson’s grandiose plans for the film. Regardless, Anderson’s epic vision, albeit less than perfect, makes O Lucky Man! necessary viewing, not only for the experience of viewing a film so obviously striving for greatness but also its intermittent moments of exhilarating artistry. Unfortunately for Anderson, as long as films like Modern Times, Playtime or The Apartment exist, it will be difficult for any movie highlighting the excesses of capitalism, the dangers of unbridled scientific or technological advances, or even the way down-and-outers can be just as uncompromising as the wealthy, to qualify as essential."
